A fill-in cover letter template for a low-code developer position, built from CVPosh's own job data. It is not a real person's letter and makes no promise about interviews. Replace the placeholders with your real experience.
Use this template as your starting point. Replace everything in [brackets] with your own information:
The opening of your low-code developer cover letter must grab attention immediately. Avoid generic openers like “I am applying for...”
Strong opening (placeholder numbers):
“After leading a team that grew low-code output by [X%] at [Company], I was excited to see [Company Name]'s opening for a Low-Code Developer. Your focus on [specific company initiative] aligns with the work I've been doing for the past [X years].”
Weak opening to avoid:
“I am writing to apply for the Low-Code Developer position I saw posted on your website. I believe I am a strong candidate...”
Demonstrate your command of key skills like Power Platform, OutSystems, Mendix. Use specific examples rather than vague claims. Hiring managers for low-code developer roles want evidence, not assertions.
Where you have real numbers, use them. Instead of “improved performance”, say by how much, but never invent a figure.
Problem-solving and creativity are often listed for technology roles in our job data. Show these through brief stories, not just adjective lists.
Your closing paragraph should do three things: reiterate your fit, show enthusiasm, and make a specific ask.
Reference specific technologies from the job description to show technical alignment.
Mention open-source contributions, side projects, or GitHub portfolio.
Quantify technical achievements where you have real numbers.
Show you understand the product and business, not just the tech stack.
Keep it concise — tech hiring managers value efficiency.
