Technology
CVPosh does not publish salary figures for observability engineer roles because we do not have a verified source for them.
For the United States, the Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes pay and outlook data by occupation in its Occupational Outlook Handbook. Search it for the occupation closest to observability engineer.
Research before negotiating
Check pay data from official and independent sources and bring what you find to the conversation.
Consider the full package
Bonuses, equity, paid time off, remote-work flexibility, and development budgets can all be part of an offer.
Make your ask specific
A specific, reasoned request is easier to respond to than a general wish for more.
